O CICLO DA ÁGUA NO SEMIÁRIDO: CARTILHA EDUCATIVA PARA O ENSINO DE BIOLOGIA

| Resumo | Este trabalho propõe conectar o conteúdo do Ciclo da Água com as características da região semiárida, utilizando contextualização para aproximar ensino-aprendizado do componente de biologia a realidade dos estudantes. Este projeto tem como objetivo desenvolver uma cartilha educativa sobre o ciclo da água no semiárido para o ensino de biologia em uma abordagem sobre as principais formas de armazenamento, conservação e uso racional desse recurso em Orós/CE. A cartilha foi construída a partir de uma revisão bibliográfica detalhada com conteúdo apresentados de forma clara e acessível, acompanhados de uma Sequência Didática com desafios e atividades lúdicas que incentivem o engajamento dos estudantes numa aprendizagem por investigação e facilitem a compreensão de conceitos científicos mais complexos sobre o tema proposto. A pesquisa aconteceu em uma escola pública da rede estadual de ensino localizada no município de Orós/CE, seguindo etapas como diagnóstico inicial, aplicação da Sequência Didática, elaboração e aplicação da cartilha educativa em sala de aula, seguida de uma avaliação de aprendizagem e dos recursos utilizados pelos estudantes e análise dos resultados. Com isso, pretende-se preencher uma lacuna do ensino contextualizado voltado para o bioma caatinga mais especificamente a região semiárida cearense, que ainda é pouco explorada no currículo escolar, além de estimular o interesse dos alunos pelos ciclos biogeoquímicos como o ciclo da água num contexto local. Espera-se que a Cartilha juntamente com Sequência Didática sejam ferramentas úteis para tornar o ensino de Biologia mais atrativo, aproximando os saberes da realidade local dos estudantes, almeja-se também que o conhecimento proporcionado pelo presente trabalho perpasse os muros da escola e sejam disseminados por toda comunidade escolar bem como a sociedade do município no qual a escola está localizada. |
| Abstract | This work proposes to connect the content of the Water Cycle with the characteristics of the semi-arid region, using contextualization to bring the teaching and learning of the biology component closer to the students' reality. This project aims to develop an educational booklet about the water cycle in the semi-arid region for biology teaching, focusing on the main forms of storage, conservation, and rational use of this resource in Orós/CE. The booklet was constructed from a detailed bibliographic review with content presented in a clear and accessible way, accompanied by a Didactic Sequence with challenges and playful activities that encourage student engagement in inquiry-based learning and facilitate the understanding of more complex scientific concepts on the proposed theme. The research took place in a public school in the state education network located in the municipality of Orós/CE, following steps such as initial diagnosis, application of the Didactic Sequence, elaboration and application of the educational booklet in the classroom, followed by an evaluation of learning and the resources used by the students and analysis of the results. This project aims to fill a gap in contextualized teaching focused on the Caatinga biome, more specifically the semi-arid region of Ceará, which is still underexplored in the school curriculum. It also seeks to stimulate students' interest in biogeochemical cycles, such as the water cycle, within a local context. It is hoped that the booklet, along with the didactic sequence, will be useful tools to make biology teaching more attractive, connecting knowledge to the students' local reality. It is also hoped that the knowledge provided by this work will extend beyond the school walls and be disseminated throughout the school community and the society of the municipality where the school is located. |
